Ted the Red Energizes Freak Show

By JBC | August 26, 2008

mescotTed Kennedy, the water boy for Left-Wing America, managed to waddle into Denver to address a motley and scary congregation.  Some say it was a tearful emotional experience, and I have no doubt that the heartstrings of all good welfare-state architects were taxed to the limit.  And no doubt his words left America with the feeling they would be taxed to the limit.  Let’s dissect what Red Ted said.

“I have come here tonight to stand with you to change America, to restore its future, to rise to our best ideals, and to elect Barack Obama president of the United States.”

–to change America means what?  This is a fight which was enjoined when Obama used that phrase for the 100th time, and it became viral.  The only change I have heard proposed is one of an even larger government, taking over even more sectors of our society.  Additionally, I suppose a part of their change is the ceding of national authority over sticky matters like our foreign policy to international bodies, to free our government workers to devise even more diabolical domestic control mechanisms.  What else can change mean?  It certainly doesn’t mean less government, as the Democrats haven’t stood for that since Grover Cleveland.  But, to “restore its future”, what exactly does that mean?  When was the future erased?  It will happen, for better or worse.  I can only surmise that he means a continuation into the future of a shift toward ever more government control of our lives.  Okay, let’s continue.

“But we have never lost our belief that we are all called to a better country and a newer world.”

–A better country…I guess that means a more socialist country?  Better in what respect?  Less guns and less Bibles and less disposable income?  I think it is pretty clear.  Now, when he says a “newer world”, I think the medication is talking.  That just doesn’t make sense.

“And this is the cause of my life — new hope that we will break the old gridlock and guarantee that every American — north, south, east, west, young, old — will have decent, quality health care as a fundamental right and not a privilege. We can meet these challenges with Barack Obama. Yes, we can, and finally, yes, we will.”  (Thunderous applause from the Church of the Weird in Denver)

–Now the gravy is on the biscuit.  Health care as a fundamental R I G H T.  My friends, that is an unencoded demand for national healthcare.  A call to break the gridlock, meaning they will break the will of those that think socialism is truly evil and will destroy all to which it is applied, and finally succumb to the global sweep of governmental control of every aspect of our lives, which was not halted by the fall of the Iron Curtain.

Barack Obama will close the book on the old politics of race and gender and group against group and straight against gay.”

–Actually, he will continue the old politics of race and gender by continuing affirmative action programs.  But, he will open the book on the new politics of class warfare and moral relativism against traditional values.

And Barack Obama will be a commander in chief who understands that young Americans in uniform must never be committed to a mistake, but always for a mission worthy of their bravery.

–Meaning that he will intervene only in foreign countries and start only foreign wars on which Democrats can agree, those similar to Kosovo, Bosnia, Haiti, Somalia, Vietnam, and Korea…those, as we know, were CERTAINLY not mistakes.

“We are told that Barack Obama believes too much in an America of high principle and bold endeavor, but when John Kennedy called of going to the moon, he didn’t say it’s too far to get there. We shouldn’t even try.”

–Actually, Ted, what we said was we can’t elect you, because YOU are too far out there, and we shouldn’t even try to sober you up.

And this November the torch will be passed again to a new generation of Americans, so with Barack Obama and for you and for me, our country will be committed to his cause. The work begins anew. The hope rises again. And the dream lives on.

–This sounds familiar, compare:  “But isn’t it self-evident that we need to get new blood and new strength into the CC CPSU? We are getting older and shall sooner or later die, but we must think into whose hands we shall give this torch of our great undertaking, who will carry it onward and reach the goal of communism? For this we need younger people with more energy, dedicated comrades and political leaders”.  - Joseph Stalin’s last speech, 1952

Uncle Ted and Uncle Joe passing the torches and tugging at hearts.  Stalin begat Khrushchev, who proclaimed to Ted’s older brother, “we will bury you”.  Ironically, it looks more likely that our final spades of earth will be administered by one of Kennedy’s own.

American Garbage

By JBC | August 25, 2008

mescotCan you believe that the country forged by Washington, Jefferson, Madison, and Franklin has devolved into this:

1.  Untalented Ugly Skank Loses the Plot

A wrinkly dimwitted prostitue known as Madonna flashed images comparing McCain to two mass murderers during her latest varicose-vein fetish porn show.  Two questions: were barf bags provided, and how long did it take to get that “old ho” smell out of the arena?

2.  Joe Biden Endorses John McCain

In 2004, Joseph Biden suggested that John Kerry choose John McCain as his running mate, stating, “I think that this is time for unity in this country, and maybe it is time to have a guy like John McCain – a Republican – on the ticket with a guy he does like..and they don’t have fundamental disagreements on major policies.”  Two questions:  how does John McCain overcome this damning endorsement, and given that Biden, Obama, Kerry, and McCain all think alike, how does America prevent total collapse in the next four years?

3.  Democratic Party Ready to Pay Tribute to Murderer

The Democratic Party is ready to pay tribute to a fat, alcoholic, cowardly, communist murderer known as Ted Kennedy.  Two questions:  will Kennedy make an appearance or will he hide out in his house trying to sober up and dry his clothers, and will this help Hillary Clinton supporters finally realize that maybe the rest of the Democratic Party really is a group of mysogenists?

May God have mercy on us all.

Don’t Poke a Stick in the Bear’s Eye

By JBC | August 15, 2008

mescotThe American president and the two leading presidential candidates from the major parties have it all wrong.  But, given our country’s backwards and dangerous foreign policy over the last several decades, it is not surprising.  But, there are some mistakes you can get away with, while others will get you hurt.  This could be one of the latter.

Of the Russian response to Georgia’s attack on South Ossetia, President Bush said:

With its actions in recent days, Russia has damaged its credibility and its relations with the nations of the free world. Bullying and intimidation are not acceptable ways to conduct foreign policy in the 21st century.

Hmmm, doesn’t that sound suspiciously like the words used to denounce America’s decision to invade Iraq?  Weren’t we chastised for damaging our relations with other nations of the world?  Weren’t we referred to as imperial bullies, and denounced for having an overly aggressive foreign policy?  It seems their is no lack of hubris or hypocrisy among the neocons who have hijacked the Republican Party.

Speaking of neocons, what did Mr. McCain have to say about Russia’s defense of distraught Ossetians and Russian expats?  Well, he said “We are all Georgians”.  Hmm, he has a point.  We did invade lands of foreign-speaking people to bring them into our sphere of influence, which is exactly what Georgia did.  But should we be proud of supporting Georgia, who sought an “old-school” solution to a republic who wanted no part of Georgia’s so-called “democracy”?  Additionally, McCain referred to Saakashvili as “Mischa”.  How nice.  Makes me fondly recall how another moron, Franklin Roosevelt, referred to Joseph Stalin, a bigger murderer than Hitler, as Uncle Joe.  Nice, huh?  Anyway,  McCain claims that Putin, and his successor Medvedev, are “bent on reasserting Russian influence in the region and perhaps the world.”  That is pretty shocking.  Nobody is claiming that Russia is innocent, but they can at least claim that South Ossetia and Abkhazia wanted NO PART of being under Georgia’s thumb, and are thankful for Russian intervention.  Russia certainly has no love for Saakashvili, who we’ve used as a stick in the Bear’s eye by doing everything in our power to get them into a now archaic and useless NATO, thus surrounding Russia.  But to claim that they want to take over the world is pretty silly.  I think a better claim for that can be said about China, whose communism and oppression we’ve overlooked, to the point of licking Chairman Mao’s little red books and butts to avoid financial crisis (they own half our debt).

Now, what of the Socialist Party candidate, Barak Hussein Obama.  Surely the man who opposed the Iraq war would see the folly of Georgia’s activity.  Hmmm, his forceful response was thus, “Now is the time for Georgia and Russia to show restraint, and to avoid an escalation to full-scale war.”   Mmmyeah.  Wow.  I can imagine a third grader having the same response when two peers are fightng over the last chocolate milk…c’mon, don’t fight, puhleez!  He also called on the ultimate toothless tiger, the United Nations, to step in and solve the situation.  Yeah.  The United Nations has solved exactly how many crises over the last several decades?  Zero.  That is just about as many years of experiece BHO has with foreing policy.  Heck, I would expect Obama’s response to be the same if Russia invaded Atlanta Georgia.  “Now is the time for those southerners to show some restraint.”

Anyway, I’m amazed that our politicians would go so far to back our puppet, Saakashvili, in order to continue our encirclement of Russia.  The Cold War is over, and we must realize that Russia will do everything in her power to protect those holding Russian passports, which are the majority in both South Ossetia and Abkhazia.  We would do the same to protect our citizens in nearby countries.  All parties should have immediately denounced Saakashvili for an unwarranted attack.  Being that we did not, we risk going down in history as hypocrites, due to the fact that we acted much the same way in the Democratic invasion of Kosovo, not to mention our last little foray into Iraq.

Given the Cold Warrior stance of McCain and the complete lack of intellectual gravitas of Obama, I’m not sure that I feel safe in our future dealings with the injured but powerful Bear.
