If you know who Howard Stern is, and are NOT sensitive to vulgar language go here for a slightly longer bit, including one Harlem supporter of McCain:

PS - I do not endorse Howard Stern, or anything for which he stands.  However, the truth should always be told, even if the messenger is faulty.

Affirmative Action Endorsement

By JBC | October 20, 2008

mescotColin Powell endorsed Barak Obama.  Are you surprised?  It seems the mainstream media is in love with Colin Powell again.  All it took was an endorsement of their latest favorite socialist.  Now, Colin Powell is described by talking heads as one of the most admired men in America, a person of dignity and grace.

I guess I’ll have to play the bad guy again, and administer the dose of reality. One of the most admired men in America? Dignity and grace? Oh my, how we have lowered our standards.

The Affirmative Action General has done NOTHING of import to be admired. He is not a battlefield hero, as he directed his battles from a political office. In fact, he spent much more time in leather chairs in carpeted offices than in canvas tents. He’s not exactly Eisenhower, Patton, Pershing, or Lee, huh?

Politically, he should be hated by the left for being the mouthpiece for an ill-advised and immoral war. Even if he was fed false information, he should be admonished for asking for a war which served no American interests whatsoever.

He should be loathed by conservatives for supporting left-wing tripe and trash such as affirmative action, abortion on demand, and foreign and domestic governmental intervention.

He should be the poster boy of everything we have done wrong as a country, and not as something to be revered. So what, if he is a nice enough fellow. So what, if rose from a hard scrabble background. There are many people around this world who would make good drinking buddies and could enthrall you with stories about their tough upbringing. Many of these folks also hold dangerous and abominable political beliefs.

As far as his support for Obama, since when have American public figures had the moral backbone or intellectual gravitas to stand up and demand we reign in a runaway government instead of pander to politically correct, intellectually shallow, and terribly intrusive political opportunism?

America is on a train going over a cliff, and we are pleasantly distracted by cheap meaningless entertainment in the dining car.

Intervention is Intervention is Intervention

By JBC | October 15, 2008

mescotLadies and Gentleman,

I promise not to mention talking dolls for children, or sports, or television programs.  Circumstances are too grave and the stakes are too high for such nonsense.

Every time I hear some moronic under-educated liberal state that unfettered free markets and lack of governmental control have created our present economic nightmare, I want to pick up a copy of Das Kapital and launch it through the television screen.  In which world have these people been living?  Our government is involved in our markets, our trade practices, and every single facet of every economic transition that takes place in America.  We legislate and regulate ALL foreign trade and all interstate commerce.  And by the way, there is NOTHING which is NOT interstate commerce, according to the Supreme Court.  Therefore, governments regulate ALL human transactions, regulate the money supply, regulate and set the cost of monetary transactions, regulate, monitor, and intervene in ALL markets and related indices.  We have NEVER EVER been so over-regulated, over-monitored, and controlled by the federal government than we are right now.  To make the argument that our problems were created by Businessmen Gone Wild is ridiculous.  Markets and corporations react to meddling by the government, and most of the downward spiral of the economy as a whole rests solely with federal intervention. Now, if you wish to blame capitalism, feel free.  Capitalism is a term coined by…..wait for it…..Karl Marx, and as American “capitalism” exists today, it is totally unrelated to a free and unfettered economy.

To make this doubly evil, the response to the aforementioned problems, is…..wait for it….more regulation, more government intervention, and more consolidation.  Only in a very dark conspiracy-theory novel or 21st century America could this happen.

Are conservatives so ashamed of their sell-out to the Bush clan that they have no will to fight for the principles espoused by previous conservative icons?  Are they willing to go down in flames fighting for a moron like McCain, and in effect, sending the rest of the country down with them?  Where is the will to fight the evil central government?  Have they given up the fight, and conceded victory to Obama, Kennedy, Pelosi and the Socialists?

Are liberals so blind to the effects of centralized power and so upset that the Democratic Party has been unable to elect anyone other than Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter over the last 40 years, that they are willing to sell out our sovereignty to international organizations, bankrupt our country to achieve the long-ago discarded Marxist ideal of economic equality, and normalize a radical social agenda which is considered perverse to mainstream America and is contrary to the long-held ideals of American liberty?

Until Americans realize that our financial problems are primarily the result of a Federal Reserve (read Central Bank, created in a secret meeting in 1913) which prints fiat money (read worthless monopoly money backed by NOTHING) to prop up a spending-addicted US Government, and then prints fiat money (read toilet paper) to maintain monetary inflation (avoiding deflation has been the primary goal of government economists for decades) and create economic booms which are doomed to collapse because they are based on nothing solid; and secondarily by a military-industrial complex which has sold out American industry to oppressive overseas foreign regimes for greater profits, we are doomed for complete irradication as a free republic.  Until Americans realize that the power-brokers of the Democratic and Republican Parties make decisions which guarantee their place in this evil process, and could care less about your needs and our great history of fighting and rebelling against such institutions, we are doomed to enslavement in a way which most of us cannot imagine.

Government intervention takes place to empower the central government and its financiers.  It is never undertaken for the basic welfare of the people.  Until we rediscover a healthy disrespect for those who know what is best for us and FORCE us to comply, we will never be free.
