President Bush, Show Some Leadership…Resign from Office
By JBC | May 31, 2007
President George W (the W stands for “What the Hell was America thinkin’ when they elected this guy”) Bush hit the road this past weekend in defense of his Amnesty Plan. Bush berated conservatives, and others, for finding fault with this Kennedy-McCain sell-out scheme. Mr. Bush said:
The fundamental question is, will elected officials have the courage necessary to put a comprehensive immigration plan in place that makes it more likely we can enforce our border and, at the same time, uphold the great … immigrant traditions of the United States of America. … Those determined to find fault with this bill will always be able to look at a narrow slice of it and find something they don’t like. If you want to kill the bill, if you don’t want to do what’s right for America, you can pick one little aspect out of it, you can use it to frighten people. Or you can show leadership and solve this problem once and for all.
Where exactly do we start to take apart this particular screech from the Chimp in Chief? He asked if our elected officials have the requisite “courage” to pass the “necessary” amnesty plan. Logically, Shrub Ole Boy, it takes very little courage to support a plan backed by the vast majority of elitists in Washington DC. Anyone taking potshots at this wacky idea risks being berated by the President, the Primary Obese Alcoholic Murderer (Kennedy, if you have to ask) and Reid, McCain and other neo-con presidential hopefuls, and even the wacko over-the-hill hippy left-wing leadership of the Democratic House of Representatives. Arguing that supporting this bill is showing courage is like making a case that the English overlords in Colonial America were courageous for over-taxing and keeping the colonials under their thumb. We both know that the real courage was on the other side of that musket.
Next, he said that we need the Amnesty Plan because it will make it more probable to “enforce our border”. Wow, this guy really is an idiot, isn’t he? Get this…he wants to forgive all the transgressors, because it will allow us to more effectively prevent future transgressors. Do you understand how truly demented (or anti-American) this guy really is? Hmmm, maybe we should pardon all murders and rapists, because it will make it easier for us to prevent and prosecute future murderers and rapists.
Mr. Bush also wants us to support the bill because it pays allegiance to the holy “immigrant traditions of the United States of America”. He wasn’t lying, he really doesn’t read much. How about the great immigrant tradition between 1920s and 1960s when immigration was but a tiny trickle? America responded to the growing influx of Europeans in the 1920s by passing very restrictive immigration reform laws, inlcuding the creation of a border security department. Immigration over the next four decades was minimal. During the Great Depression, there was even a net DEFICIT in immigration. Immigration was used to feed the growing beast of the industrial revolution, when American birthrates, although high compared to today, could not keep up with an economy growing at a rate never witnessed before or after. And for everybody’s information, the “immigration” referred to in the 17th century was NOT immigration as we know it…it was colonization. They were creating new settlements in a wild land, not fleeing their home countries and rejecting their heritage. They were setting up shop where nothing existed but roving bands of aborigines and abundant wildlife. I hardly think that today’s ill-educated and criminally disposed Mexicans and Central Americans would opt for such an adventure.
Next, Mr. Bush audaciously stated, “Those determined to find fault with this bill will always be able to look at a narrow slice of it and find something they don’t like”. Nope, I think that any proud and intelligent American will be able to look at this bill and find that the proposal, in its entirety, is nothing but a ruse to appease a growing ethnic minority (soon to be a majority if this legislation passes), to fuel the endless greed of the filthy rich, and to salve the gaping, never-ending, self-loathing guilt of the liberal apologists. Succinctly, it is nothing but a slap in the face of the law-abiding American public.
Next, the infantile Shrub cried that to oppose the bill was to show a lack of commitment to “do what’s right for America”. Actually, he means that it shows a lack of commitment to do what is right for Mexican criminals, big corporations, and left-wing radicals…and isn’t that really the America supported by our political leaders? It seems to me that “what is right for America”, is what is right for legal citizens of the United States of America. Is it right for America to have your country illegally invaded for decades? Is it right for America to have the wages of the laborer driven down by competition from diseased squatters? Is it right for America to have our taxes used to subsidize the education and medical care of foreigners? Is it right for America to grant safe-haven to thousands upon thousands of foreign-born murderers, rapists, and thugs? Mr. Bush is delusional, and should be immediately held in custody on remand at Bill and Hillary Clinton’s house.
Lastly, Mr. Bush said that legislators could “show leadership and solve this problem once and for all”. Yes, Mr. Bush, they should solve the problem. They should close the borders, as they agreed last year, and enforce the laws that are in place. Additionally, a moratorium on ALL immigration should probably take place until we can solve the crisis we have right now. Additionally, El Presidente, you can show some true leadership, aid in the solution of this problem, and prove to all of us that you aren’t really the enemy of the average American citizen, by resigning from office and apologizing to the American public for betraying their trust.
