Ron Paul Was Right

By JBC | May 20, 2007

mescotThe biggest fireworks at the most recent GOP presidential debate was a well-calculated over-the-top response from Rudi Guliani regarding a statement of fact by Ron PaulDr. Paul stated that America’s foreign policy, specifically ten years of bombing of Iraq and thousands of American troops stationed in Saudi Arabia, had contributed to the anti-American sentiment among those groups that attacked us, and was a factor in their decision to carry out acts of terror against innocent American civilians.  Well….DUH.  One only needs to read statements by those that engineered the attacks, and to peruse reports from bi-partisan political commissions which examined the events, to understand that everything stated by Dr. Paul was absolutely correct.

However, facts don’t really matter to many politicians.  In particular, the gravitas-challenged Lisping Liberal Loudmouth from New York, who astonishingly stated that he had never heard this explanation before (are we sure that something didn’t fall on the Mayor’s head during September of 2001?), would never let real issues or real debate take place.  That is just the New Yorker in him.  Is there any wonder that three blowhard liberals representing that city are pursuing the White House (the Lisping Liberal Loudmouth, Big Ankles, and now Michael Bloomberg, whoever the hell that is)?

America, thank God, is not New York City.  Let’s keep it that way…and the best way to do it is to make an informed and intelligent choice, voting for a presidential candidate who has actually read, and believes in the principles of, the Constitution of the United States of America.  That man’s name is Ron Paul from Texas.

Yes, “America’s Mayor”, indeed. I hardly think that most Americans would elect Mr. Guliani as their dogcatcher. We’ll see. Heck, we elected Bill Clinton and George II…can we go even lower?
