Tragedy Strikes Close to Home
By JBC | March 2, 2007
Distaster struck southern Alabama yesterday. Tornadoes dotted the state of Alabama, as a major storm system moved through the southeast on the 1st of March. Particularly sad was the destruction in Enterprise, a mere 50 miles from my hometown of Florala. It seems that at least eight people, mostly children, were killed when a tornado decimated Enterprise High School and environs. My heart and prayers go out to those that were lost or injured, and to the family members of those kids. God bless them, and help them get over this tragedy.
