A Week to Forget

Is it just an arbitrary number, or is it significant? This is actually a debate within the mainstream media and political circles. I have the answer. It is very significant, because it represents 2,000 men and women that are no longer with us because we have supported an interventionist policy in the Middle East. You don’t have to agree or disagree with the policy to mourn so much loss of life. If the number was 200, or 20, or 2, it would still be significant because it is a reminder that foreign policy decisions have ramifications beyond the Beltway.

“Scooter” Libby

As the members of Shrub’s entourage breathed a muffled sigh of relief, the rest of America is wondering how this administration is any different from Billy Boy’s. If there was a conspiracy that touched the highest office in the land is immaterial, because the stink emanates from the vicinity of the White House. Perception is everything. Didn’t these guys learn anything from Bubba’s Great Adventure? This probably isn’t over, and I am already tired of the story.

Harriet Miers

I feel sorry for this lady. She would not have been my choice. I do not think she is very qualified for the job. I think she would have been the horrible nightmare that conservatives warned us about. However, she seems like a nice lady. But George W really pulled a boner. He now looks like the imbecile portrayed by the fat idiotic slob Michael Moorer. Dumb and dumberer?
